Psychogeography

Psychogeography is another term which I am interested in, and have often unknowingly participated in. I love to travel and wander on foot around urban and suburban environments, to stumble upon places, finding feelings of connection and exploring interesting architecture and quirky places. Author Will Self is a psychogeographer – a drifter, a flâneurhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychogeography. He has written books about his travels on foot, “engaging in place and space and their effects on the psyche… It’s about the journey and not what’s at the end of it. No GPS no maps, just wandering. Moving though the environment being drawn to new places.”
