The project aim is to be inventive and resourceful and to use a creative process to move ideas away from initial ideas from clichés and to reach a presentable outcome successfully. Using a creative process like the example below or another suitable process to identify a project framework stating: the end user context, form, intention and theme.
My research followed the chronological order of: Primary, Secondary, Practical, Lateral, Contextual, Market, and Ongoing. The project involved plenty of reflection, idea development, time planning, problem solving, critical evaluation and final presentation of a completed outcome to our peers and tutor.

I will create an illustrated children’s book on types of hats, for educational purposes, to inform them and spark interest into who wears them /where/how /why they are worn.
This appeals most because hats keep cropping up, and the more I research this subject , the more interested and inspired I have become to create this book.

“Path”… CRAZY PAVING
I will create a fine art picture in mixed media/collage exploring mental health and based on the word “crazy paving”, as an image to provoke awareness of mental health. This would be exhibited in a gallery, or an illustration in a mental health or mindfulness magazine.
I have several ideas for an image in my mind, but I think I prefer the book idea above.

“Path” … Path over a bridge of a story on a plate … WILLOW PATTERN
I will illustrate a book to educate adults and older children on the history of Willow Pattern ceramics. This would be the tale told on famous Willow pattern china, and educate people* about the history and symbolism of the images on these ceramics, to be sold in book shops such as Waterstones. *People interested in ceramics, home interiors and antiques would also be the end-user.
I collect vintage Willow Pattern ceramics, and have a passion for collecting unusual antique china. Over recent years, I’ve researched Willow pattern for my own personal interest. Would it be overkill?
